I don’t usually pop into your inbox on a Friday, but I wanted to update you on a few things. First off, thank you for taking our poll last week.
The minute we got one vote, I swung into action. And on Monday, I might have the cover to show you for our Christmas adventure (in poems)!
(When I say ‘I’, I mean Ran, son of Sarn, the quiet Curse Breaker.)
I also stopped by tell you about a FREE & 99 cent Weekend Sale of some of the books that participated in the Self Published Fantasy Blog Off this year.
300 books entered. 10 rose to the semi-finals and one will win.
This year, we entered Curse Breaker Enchanted, the first book in the Curse Breaker series. We were one of the 290 books cut in round one, but we lasted almost until very end of the round, so we’re proud of that and grateful to the judges.
The contest is driven by the judges’ taste in books. What doesn’t resonate with one judge may become your new favorite book. Some great books were cut in round one along with us, so we’re in good company.

We might not have conquered the SPFBO 9 contest, but we are crushing our other goal, and we have you to thank for that!

To date, we’ve given away 3452 copies! That’s 94% of our goal!

We’ve argued with that store for months but they will not make it free for all countries. They keep saying things like ‘they reserve the right to price match at their discretion…’ and then they deny our request.
It’s the same situation for His Angelic Keeper #1. We have links to download both books from Bookfunnel on our website for that reason.
It’s annoying, but Amazon holds all the cards when it comes to their store.
