I just wanna say I originally read this on your word press site. I find them very valuable and entertaining so please don't ever stop posting on your website. This Amazon thing really solidifies how important it is to keep a website and a blog active that is ✨always✨ owned by you. Even Substack could potentially always leave us or lock us out. I fucking hate that in this age of the internet we are always "renting" space from someone else. I'd love to comment on your actual blog and help drive traffic there. I hope you consider turning on comments for your blogs on WordPress, mostly to say FU to big anything. Including Substack. I hope you get your Amazon account back. I've heard of this a few times actually. Have you ever considered getting your books on the library apps like Libby? Or using Libby to listen to audiobooks 10/10 recommend and it's Free.
Thank you. I will always post my newsletter on my blog since that's where it started in 2015. I had to turn commenting off when I started getting hundreds of spam messages a day. I could try turning it back on and see how it goes. I miss the comments from real people on there. Yes, all my books have been available on Libby for years. You can request them from any library. All new releases publish to Libby as well as on other retailers and I try to get them all to publish on the same day, but some places take longer to process new releases. I do try though! I'll mention that in my next newsletter. Ran always forgets to talk about libraries. I'll have a word with him.
You are totally welcome. I love going to WordPress to comment. But I do understand the spam messages. That can get overwhelming. So I don't blame you keep your peace. Yes. Libraries. Please support our libraries everyone.
Well, Ran and Melinda, this is awful. I kept thinking about stolen domains, while reading. Though it sounds like a monumental screw-up by Amazon. I can't imagine losing so much and then dealing in an attitude of equilibrium. Straightforwardly (because I can) I wish and more so pray that everything comes back plus even more for all your trouble. Hellacious, indeed.
Thank you. So far, it's all still in limbo. I spent countless hours on the phone trying to get something done, but the situation just keeps getting worse. I hope I can get access to my books again, both mine and the thousands I bought over the years. I still haven't read them all yet.
