Melinda sat because she wasn’t sure what else to do. First Jerlo showed up and told her a wild tale about demons under Mount Eredren. I really need to do something about that. Sarn dealt with enough demons, so why not let his boss handle the next one? That would be poetic justice for how Jerlo treated Sarn in Curse Breaker Enchanted.
